


It's usually just the name of your game, but if you're not 100% sure what it is, you might be able to find it listed on your game's wiki article in the PC Gaming Wiki. In your EA Games directory (by default, this is C:/Program Files/EA Games), create a new folder with the same name as your game's normal installation directory. I also closed the EA Background Service in the Windows Task Manager, but I don't think that's necessary.

You might want to reopen the app and double-check that it doesn't show a frozen download in progress, which kept happening to me while I was doing this. Make sure your download queue is empty and close the EA App. This method has been tested and confirmed to work for Mirror's Edge and Mirror's Edge Catalyst, but it probably works for all games in the EA catalog:
